Watering Restrictions in Effect from May 1 to October 1, 2016

Remember, just because it is your day to water, that does not mean that you must water your lawn. Check first.

Residents are reminded that watering restrictions are in effect May 1 through October 1.

Sprinkling is permitted between the hours of 6:00am and 9:00am and 6:00pm and 9:00pm.

Properties with even numbered civic addresses may water on even numbered days. Properties with odd numbered civic addresses may water on odd numbered days.

Properties with automatic sprinkling systems may water between the hours of 12:00am and 6:00am on their assigned watering days provided that sprinkling does not exceed 6 hours in any 24 hour period. Property owners are encouraged to ensure that automatic sprinkling systems are programmed appropriately in order to conserve water – there have been a number of cases where irrigation was programmed to run for the entire period and overwatered lawns.

Hand-watering is permitted providing a hand-held container or hose with a shutoff device is utilized.

These restrictions apply to all properties within the City of Enderby or connected to the City of Enderby water system with the exception of nurseries, farms, sports fields or public parks/gardens.

Your cooperation is appreciated.
