Website and Social Media Privacy Policy

Scope

The scope of this privacy policy includes the collection and use of information from the City of Enderby website (including the following domain names: cityofenderby.com, enderby.ca, and enderby.com) and its authorized social media accounts (including the following: facebook.com/OurEnderby and twitter.com/OurEnderby).

The collection of personal information through the City’s website and social media accounts are subject to the Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act (“FIPPA”). Any personal information provided through our website or social media accounts is collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with FIPPA.

Please note that social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter have their own privacy policies, in addition to the City of Enderby, which are not within the scope of this policy. Do not use these social media platforms for the purposes of transmitting personal information unless you have read, understand, and agree with the privacy policies of those social media platforms.

Personal Information Defined

Personal information means recorded information about an identifiable individual, other than their business contact information (if applicable).
