Candidate Information

Elections BC is responsible for administering the campaign financing and advertising rules. More information can be found on their website.

Here are some ways to prepare yourself for being an elected official for the City of Enderby:

Key Dates for Candidates

  • March 10 – Last day to meet 6-month BC residency requirement for candidates submitting nomination documents on September 11, 2026
  • September 1 at 9:00 am – Nomination period begins
  • September 11 at 4:00 pm – Nomination period ends (followed by declaration of candidates)
  • September 15 at 4:00 pm – Deadline for challenge of nominations and elector organization endorsements
  • September 18 at 4:00 pm – Deadline for withdrawal of candidates
  • All-Candidates Forum – TBD
  • October 7 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm – Advance voting day at Enderby City Hall, 619 Cliff Avenue
  • Special voting opportunity for residents of Parkview Place – TBD
  • October 17 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm – General voting day at Enderby Seniors Centre, 1101 George Street
  • October 21 – Last possible day for declaration of official election results
  • November 2 – First meeting of new Council
