Anthony Hopkins Visits City Hall

Anthony Hopkins visited Enderby City Hall on Sunday, December 7, 2014. Hopkins, on location for filming the movie Go With Me (produced by Enderby Entertainment), was invited by Enderby City Council for the presentation of gift baskets featuring local products. The gift baskets were for the cast and crew of Go With Me.

A painting of Hopkins in front of City Hall by artist Jaime Seward was also formally presented. The painting was purchased by Mayor Greg McCune and is displayed inside City Hall.

“It was an exciting day today,” reflects Mayor McCune. “I think it’s amazing that Rick Dugdale [president of Enderby Entertainment] is doing what he is doing and achieving his dream, and bringing this back to his home town.” Los Angeles based Enderby Entertainment is an independent film, television and digital media financing and production company that was founded in 2006 by partners Rick Dugdale and Daniel Petrie, Jr. Enderby Entertainment’s film credits include Go With Me, Rosemont, Dawn Patrol, and About Cherry.

“Anthony Hopkins was extremely kind and friendly. It’s awesome that he’s taken a liking to our area. We are thrilled to have him here along with such a tremendous cast and crew.”
