The City of Enderby has restored its primary water source to service as of 3:00pm on October 9, 2015. The source was taken out of service on September 28 for filter repairs. During this time, City of Enderby drinking water customers were served by its secondary source, a well.
The repairs involved removing filter sand and internal components, fixing the floor and re-installing the internal components, adding the replacement filter sand, and then disinfecting the system. After the system was verified as free of bacteria, it was returned to service.
The City would like to thank those water customers who voluntarily reduced their consumption during this period.
