City of Enderby Issues Precautionary Water Quality Advisory Effective March 2, 2026 at Noon

The City of Enderby Drinking Water System has issued a precautionary Water Quality Advisory starting on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 12:00pm due to emergency repairs to the Water Treatment Plant.

While the repairs are proceeding, the City of Enderby will be reliant upon its back-up groundwater source, which only receives one form of disinfection (chlorination, without ultraviolet treatment).  The Water Quality Advisory is expected to remain in effect for 3 to 5 days, until the repair has been completed and the Water Treatment Plant has been returned to potable status.  A notification will be issued when the Water Quality Advisory is lifted.

Until notified otherwise, users with weakened immune systems or wishing additional protection should take the following precautions when drinking, washing fruit and vegetables, making beverages or ice, or when brushing teeth:

  • Boil water rapidly for at least 1 minute or use an alternate safe source of water.
  • Use a hand sanitizer after washing your hands.

Please help by informing others.
