Enderby City Hall will be closed for the National Day of Mourning to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on September 19, 2022.
The regular Council meeting scheduled to begin at 4:30pm on September 19, 2022 will occur as scheduled, to be preceded by a Committee of the Whole meeting at 4:00pm.
The Enderby Arena will be open only for previously scheduled bookings. Public Works will be on reduced staffing to perform critical duties.
The Canadian flag at City Hall will remain at half mast until after sunset on the day of the late sovereign’s memorial service. In accordance with protocol, the Queen’s official portrait in Council Chambers has been draped in black.
Residents of Enderby are invited to sign the online book of condolences for Queen Elizabeth II.
