The prohibition on Category 2 and Category 3 Open Burning within the City of Enderby and Shuswap River Fire Protection District are lifted effective October 2, 2026 at 12:00 pm.

This is consistent with the approach of the Kamloops Fire Centre, which regulates those areas not protected by a fire department.
The prohibition on campfires was previously lifted effective September 3, 2026.
