Weather permitting (and the forecast is promising!), street sweeping will occur on Sunday, April 22, 2018.
The contractor will be sending in a whole fleet of sweepers to crush the debris, so they will be all over town – be sure to give them a friendly wave and welcome them!
Please sweep your sidewalks to the curb (try to avoid making piles of material – it is easier to pick up by a mechanical sweeper if it is more evenly distributed) and avoid parking on the street until after the sweeper passes – this will help our contractor to clear as much debris as possible and avoid missing spots due to obstructions.
As sweeping is happening on the same day as the spring pruning pick-up, if you haven’t set out your pruning bundles yet and could set them just behind the curb or in an unpaved boulevard, that would be much appreciated. It is not required if you have already placed the materials, but it will help our sweeping contractor to move through the area as effectively as possible.
