Accessibility

As part of the new Accessible British Columbia Act, local governments and many other public sector organizations must establish an accessibility committee, develop an accessibility plan, and create a mechanism for public feedback regarding accessibility.

The City of Enderby is a participant in the North Okanagan’s Inter-Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee. Through this Committee, best practices and expertise can be shared at the regional level to help identify, remove, and prevent barriers to individuals interacting with the participating local governments.

For information on the Accessibility Plan’s development, or to provide feedback on accessibility, please visit the Inter-Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee’s web page.
