Elvis 70s Dance Party

Packed 70s dance a perfect end to Summer

Elvis, along with hundreds of music fans from Enderby and beyond were in the house on Friday, September 5, 2025 for the City of Enderby’s 70s Dance Party by the River! And by ‘house’ we mean a jam-packed Belvidere Park.

Room to Dance, comprised of Okanagan husband-wife duo Andy and JC Plett returned to Enderby proving their versatility and talent. After performing a high-energy country dance set at Boots by the River in July, they came back with more lights, more speakers, and more sparkle and transported the Friday night crowd back to the 1970s with the best hits of the era.

We can’t thank the Enderby & District Lions Club enough for making the event possible with their stellar sponsorship. Their hope with sponsoring the event was to meet a new generation of Lions out on the dance floor. If you’re interested in getting involved with the club, email club president Joe Deveau: jddeveau@telus.net.

Special thanks to those who contributed to making the set design particularly radical:
Caitlin Bilanchuk
David Sherwood

Enderby Public Works
Distinctive Decor Antiques Vernon
Ben Melin
Karen Wingerak
Liam Eddy

A nod to Enderby & District Financial for being groovy in supporting the Feed Enderby and District (FED) with a 50/50 that raised $515 for food bank and sent a 70s Dance Party attendee home $515 richer.

And to our slammin’ food vendors for keeping everyone energized:
Enderby Area Community Hub
Ice Cream Lab
IGA BBQ in support of the Enderby & District Lions Club
Samosa Joes

THANK YOU, ENDERBY! Thank you for making the 70s Dance Party by the River a night to remember.

We’ll catch you on the flip side. Peace and Love.
