Public Notice is given to the electors of the City of Enderby that nominations for the offices of:

One (1) Mayor
Six (6) Councillors

will be received by the Chief Election Officer or a designated person, as follows:

Nomination packages are available at Enderby City Hall between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, excluding 12:30pm through 1:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, until 4:00pm on Friday September 11, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE

A person is qualified to be nominated, elected, and to hold office as a member of local government if they meet the following criteria:

• Canadian citizen;
• 18 years of age or older on general voting day (Saturday October 17, 2026);
• resident of British Columbia for at least 6 months immediately before the day nomination papers are filed;
• not disqualified under the Local Government Act or any other enactment from voting in an election in British Columbia or being nominated for, being elected to or holding the office, or be otherwise disqualified by law.

CAMPAIGN PERIOD EXPENSE LIMITS

In accordance with the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, for the 2026 general local election, the following expense limits for candidates during the campaign period apply:

Mayor $ 12, 323.78
Councillor $ 6,161.89

THIRD PARTY ADVERTISING LIMITS

In accordance with the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, for the 2026 general local elections, the third party advertising limit is $924.28.
