The City of Enderby is accepting proposals for the maintenance of the Cliffside Cemetery near Enderby.

A quotation form and a copy of the contract is available below or at City Hall - 619 Cliff Avenue between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. A list of general and specific duties associated with the cemetery maintenance contract is included in Schedule B of the contract.

Signed quotes will be accepted until 3:00pm on Friday, October 27, 2023.

A MANDATORY on-site meeting will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00am for interested parties.

This opportunity has now closed. Thank you for your interest. The City of Enderby owns and operates the Cliffside Cemetery located at 169 Enderby-Grindrod Road. The Cemetery possesses significant, rustic, heritage values and has served Enderby and the surrounding rural communities for many decades. The City wishes to ensure that investment in Cemetery improvements is done in a manner that fits with contemporary public expectations, builds upon its defining characteristics, and positions the cemetery to accommodate future demand. The City is seeking a cemetery planning consultant who possesses significant expertise working with small cemeteries. The consultant should be prepared to review and make recommendations on the Cemetery with respect to land use planning.
