ANIMAL CONTROL

Animal control is a service of the Enderby/Area F Joint Services Commission. The contractor is K-9 Control Services. Please call 250-545-8070 for a dog control officer.
Dog licenses are available at City Hall, and from K-9 Control. Licenses are due January 1st. Licenses purchased after March 15 are subject to a $10 penalty. A license is required for all dogs once reaching 6 months of age.
License Fees: Spayed / neutered: $ 15.00 Unaltered: $ 55.00
Lifetime License - altered $ 75.00
Lifetime License - unaltered $ 250.00
Replacement license: $ 5.00 Late fee: $ 10.00
Impound Fees: 1st impoundment $ 25.00 2nd impoundment $ 50.00 3rd impoundment $100.00 4th impoundment $200.00 Maintenance fees per day or part day of detention $ 10.00 Veterinary fees (as required) as per statement
