Recycling Initiative Creates Sustainability for Environment and Resource Centre

The City of Enderby has recently installed two bottle/can recycling receptacles in town, one along the Breezeway on Cliff Avenue and the one in the parking lot behind the Enderby & District Chamber of Commerce.

Today, Councillors Tundra Baird and Raquel Knust presented Sue Rossi and Mike Parsons of the Enderby & District Resource Centre with keys to receptacles as the Resource Centre will be maintaining them as a fundraiser. This not only helps to divert cans and bottles from the landfill, but the proceeds will help provide sustainability to the Resource Centre.
