Cliff Avenue Construction Begins

The City of Enderby is pleased to announce that Phase One of the renewal of Cliff Avenue begins on Monday, April 4, 2016. This exciting project will replace critical underground infrastructure and create a new streetscape that will promote social and economic growth. The general contractor for the Cliff Avenue renewal is Mounce Construction Ltd., who most recently worked in Enderby on the reconstruction of Mill Avenue and Belvedere Street.

Phase 1 construction will extend on Cliff Avenue from Highway 97A (George Street) to Vernon Street. Phase 2 construction, which extends on Cliff Avenue from Vernon Street to the Bawtree Bridge, will commence in September.

Park your car, it’s not that far!

Did you know that the typical walking distance from a parking lot to a Cliff Avenue business is only 1 to 3 minutes for most pedestrians?

During construction, access to businesses will be maintained. There will be dedicated pedestrian walkways available. The City provides free parking throughout the downtown core, including at three nearby parking lots on Mill Avenue, Russell Avenue, and Maud Street.
