On April 23, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. the emergency siren at the Enderby & District Fire Hall will be audibly tested to verify that it operates as intended in the event of an emergency.
Residents and visitors may hear a loud siren while the test is taking place.
Declining temperatures, inclining humidity, and increased precipitation have led to improving conditions, enabling the City of Enderby and Shuswap River Fire Protection District to lift the prohibition on Category 2 Open Burning and certain other activities, effective at noon on Friday, October 6, 2023.
Consistent with the Kamloops Fire Centre, the prohibition on campfires is lifted effective at noon on September 28, 2023.

Consistent with the Kamloops Fire Centre and other communities in the area, the prohibition on campfires is lifted effective at noon on June 16, 2023 due to the current and forecast decline in the fire danger rating.
The City of Enderby is actively monitoring for flood conditions and will activate its Emergency Operations Centre if conditions deteriorate and additional support is needed.
Due to the rising level of the Shuswap River, several closures are in effect:
